On Saturday December 22nd, we will be announcing our new Disc Golf team for 2019. In 2018, we sponsored two players, Josh Hollingsworth and our own Clint Rihn. For this coming year, we will be expanding our team by two players. We know they will have a lot to offer us and will represent our brand well.
Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages on Saturday to learn about our new team members. We are excited to continue to grow our team and business.
Thank you to all of those who have supported us in 2018!
Welcome to Bluffside Basket Review, a disc golf course review blog that will feature many courses in Wisconsin as well as surrounding area courses. This first course is Clint from Bluffside Birdie's favorite course, Veteran Hills.
Course name: Veteran Hills
Location: Viroqua, WI
General style: Good mix of wooded and open holes
Cons: Some of the roughs are pretty unforgiving and discs can be lost easily. There are a few holes where having a spotter is helpful.
Other Comments: This course is one of my favorite courses in Wisconsin. It requires proficient throws with backhand and forehand shots. Also it has a good mix of wooded and open holes that use the elevation well. The course is also very well maintained by the local disc golfers. They cut out lanes in the rough on longer open holes to make it easier to gauge where the discs land.
